Any Protein whose plasma concentration markedly changes during infection, inflammatory disorders and trauma etc is called acute- phase protein. This article briefly introduced the classification, functions and synthesis regulations of APP, summarized the status quo of application and research of APP, and predicted the trend of APP research program.
