摘要
简单性是科学理论的一个重要特点。本文探究了简单性的内涵、分类,简单性与经济性、科学美的关系,简单性与真的关系以及是否存在本体论的简单性等重要问题,并对简单性的功能提出了自己的看法。
Simplicity is an important feature of a scientific theory. In this paper, the author explores many important issues and puts forward his views of the functions of simplicity. These issues include： implication and classification of simplicity; relationships among simplicity, economy, and scientific beauty; relationships between simplicity and truth; and whether there is ontology of simplicity.
