This paper describes briefly and in an all-round way the related teehnical problems in Chinese astro-geodetic net adjustment as a whole.1. The configuration of Chinese astro-geodetic net and the scale entering for adjustment as a whole.2. The selection and orientation of the reference spheroid; the astronomical observation system; length standard; the computation of deflection of vertical and height anomaly; the problem of adjustment carried out on the spheroid;the treatment of Laplace arimuth in adjustment; the problem on an unified adjustment of triangulation and traverse of all classes as a whole.3. The basic principle of adjustment by the method of conditional connection used for Chinese astro-geodetic net adjustment as a whole and some problems involved in the method of treatment; a method suitable for the solution of normal equations on a large scale by electronic eomputer.4.
