摘要
通过1:5万区调,在沿河一带志留系秀山组与二叠系梁山组之间发现一套数米厚铝质岩系,产1m厚铝土矿,横向对比后认为其层位相当于石炭系九架炉组,该组向NE延伸至沙子场则相变为硅质岩和含铁铝质砾石的岩系,与上下地层明显假整合接触。它的发现不仅扩大了九架炉组分布范围,而且为贵州寻找铝土矿提供了新的信息,对研究贵州石炭系沉积环境具有重要意义。
The regional geological survey at 1: 50 000 shows that there is a bauxite horizon about one meter in thickness found in a several-meter-thick aluminous unit which disconformably underlies the late Silurian Xiushan Formation and is disconformably overlain by the early Permian Liangshan Formation around Yanhe county of northeastern Guizhou and gives way to siliceous and /or ferruginous-aluminous-gravel-bearin rocks when extending northeastward into the Shazlchang. Laterally, this aluminous unit is able to be correlated with the late Carboniferous Jiujialu Formation noted for producing the largest bauxites in central Guizhou. It is obvious that the discovery of the bauxite horizon in northeastern Guizhou might provide a clue to search for bauxite deposits in unknown areas and new data for reconsideration of sedimentary environment for the Jiujialu Formation in late Carboniferous time.
