艺术家具有独特的揭示丑的本质的能力,进入艺术殿堂的丑渗透着艺术家否定性的评价,把丑变得更典型,便从反面肯定了美,体现了合目的性的"善"。潘金莲是一个被社会、家庭、生活扭曲的畸形人物,是封建男权土壤下孳生的恶之花。《金瓶梅》用"化丑为美"的手法,从她身上挖掘了与众不同的人性的异化和毁灭。她残忍阴毒、淫荡成性这一独特性格的形成是独特的客体环境和主体环境所决定的。《金瓶梅》采撷恶之花有其特殊的美学追求。
