The Function of Map Layers in Pre-Printing System

地图印前系统中的“层”功能应用为地图编辑设计的工作提供了极大方便,是编辑设计的关键,本文介绍了“层”的功能、“层”的应用,并将地图印前系统中的“层”应用与传统制图中的层应用做了比较,提出了组合地图的思路及“层”应用中需注意的问题。

The application of map layers in map pre-printing system greatly facilitates the map designing and editing procedures. This paper discussed the concept .functions and implementation of map layers in pre-printing map design. It also compared the map layers in pre-printing system with the layers in the conventional cartography, the concept of combined maps' was proposed and the key points for preparing map layers were mentioned.
