摘要 土壤有机质是土壤肥力和土壤质量的重要指标。有关土壤有机质的研究已有160多年的历史。人们对土壤有机质的最初认识是:它是作物营养的唯一来源,对作物的产量至关重要,这种观点到上世纪70年代被英国洛桑实验站的长期定位试验结果所改变。该站的研究证明:很多栽培作物的产量并不依赖于土壤有机质水平的高低。随着对全球变化的关注,近期有关土壤有机质作为重要碳库的研究也得到重视。毋庸置疑,土壤有机质对作物生长所具有的直接作用和间接作用是客观存在的,但其作用会因为不同地域、不同土壤管理方式及不同的气候条件而有所不同。土壤有机质仍是土壤学和作物栽培学领域普遍关注的研究热点。 Soil organic matter (SOM) is known to play important roles in the maintenance as well as improvement of many soil properties. The studies on this issue has been continued as long as more than 160 years.Initially the soil organic matter was considered the only source as crop nutrition until the result from Rothamsted experimental station came out in 70' s last century. The results from Rothamsted indicated that the yields of many crops were not relied on the concentration of SOM. With the increase of attention to global change, the SOC was paid more attention as a key C pool recently. Indubitably, SOM play an important role directly or indirectly to crop, but this will change with the difference in climate and soil management. This literature review aims to provide a comprehensive assessment of the current state of knowledge of the functions of SOM and its effect on the physical, chemical and biological properties of soil as well as on the crop productivity.
