The paper introduced the resource recycling legal system and the laws and principles on waste separation and re-packaging commercialization of containers and packaging in Japan. The paper also introduced the management system, main measures of containers and packaging and the situation and characteristics of the recycling of each kind of packaging waste in Japan.
