清代笔记史料中谈到乡闱的很多,而记载乡闱之中"鬼神精怪"的文字更多。从今日的唯物主义观点来看,这些故事都有可能是虚构的,但是它们所表现出来的历史情景与创作者和传播者的心态与观念却是真实存在的,而我们所要了解的恰恰是这种文字背后的清代社会情况以及处于其中的士人阶层的心理。本文即试图由这一思路出发,对清代笔记史料中关于"乡闱"的文本进行一个系统的分析和考察,以揭示出清代士人特殊的文化心理状态。

Qing scholar-gentry would like to talk about Examination Hall in Notes novel. The content of these novels were apt to narrate evil, myth and monster and so on. These stories may be fancied from the angle of Max Materialism. But they could convey and communicate the history context and the thought of the authors, disseminators. The paper tries to find out the social common life and the psychology of Scholar-gentry circle in the back of letters in Qing dynasty.
