在建设和谐社会的过程中,作为市场主体的企业,其经济目标和社会环境责任应是相辅相成的。企业在谋求自身经济利益最大化的同时,还应寻求自身发展与社会经济可持续发展目标的一致性。现阶段企业环境责任问题不仅仅是企业自身关注的问题,更是各级政府和社会各界都极为重视的问题。本文通过中外企业在履行环境责任方面的比较研究,希望从中得到一些启迪。

Enterprises are the main body of the market, their economical goals and social responsibility should supplement each other in the course of building harmonious society. When enterprises maximize their profit, self-development of enterprises should be consistent with sustainable development of society and economy. The issue of enterprises＇ environmental responsibility should be regarded not only by enterprises themselves, government of all levels and society of all classes should pay very attention on this issue. Studying the instance of fulfilling environmental responsibility by comparing foreign enterprises with native enterprises, this paper will reveal something.
