Grim Situation in Farm Produce Export Needs Strong Policy Support

据海关统计显示，2002年至2007年，我国农产品出口平均年增长率达15％左右，至2007年出口额已达366．2亿美元，创历史新高。而自2008年以来出口形势发生急剧变化，外部市场、政策变化及食品安全等因素严重困扰了农产品出口。2008年1-4月，我国农产品出口127亿美元，同比仅增长10．6％，增长幅度大大放缓；同时，农产品进口大幅增长，2008年1—4月我国农产品进口181．7亿美元，

To cope with the tight world grain supply, China has adopted the measures to restrict the grain export in a decisive way. Given the present complicated competition pattern in global market, it＇s very important to encourage and support the export of featured farm produce. This article intends to analyze the export of Chinese agro-products and the policy options.
