自改革开放以来，在家庭联产承包责任制和市场放开政策的推动下，中国肉类生产高速增长，在增加农民收入、优化农业结构、改善居民膳食结构方面发挥了主导作用。
Since the opening-up and reform, China＇s meat production has witnessed a rise at top speed. The per capita meat availability has overtaken the world＇s average from mid 1990＇s, making an important contribution to improving the living standard of the people. Meanwhile, a leading role has been played in increase of farmers＂ income, optimization of agro-structure and improvement of residents＇ diet structure.
