时间信息普遍存在于叙事语篇中。在语篇理解中,时间为阅读者在脑里再现语篇所描述事件提供了重要提示,它也是语篇中标志时间空隙或话题转换的分割标记。没有对叙事时间特征的分析和理解,就不能恰当地理解整个语篇。时间关系、时间位置和时间方向是叙事时间的基本特征。
