摘要
旧西藏是一个政教合一统治下的封建农奴制社会,对此近世以来的西方入侵者、传教士、探险者等进行过身临其境的描述。然而,这些反映农奴制度黑暗的记录却在当代西方社会出现了"群体失忆"和"人间天堂"的无端想象。本文通过对西方人亲眼目睹旧西藏的观感再现,举证西方学者对此的研究评介,分析西方殖民势力制造"西藏印象"误导西方社会的历史背景和现实影响,揭示掩盖在"西藏印象"人文包装下面的政治目的。
Old Tibet used to be a feudal serfdom society under the integration of politics and religion. Since the 18th century, the Western invaders, missionaries and explorers who came into Tibet have left vivid descriptions about it. In contemporary Western society, there emerges collective amnesia about Old Tibet, and groundless imagination of 'the Paradise on Earth' is popular. This paper reveals the political purpose under the humanitarian mask of 'Impressions of Tibet' through the reappearance of the Western observations about the old Tibet and the examining of the studies of West academics, and analyzes the backgrounds and effects of the misleading 'Impression of Tibet' produced by the Western colonialism.
