Ethical Criticism on Urban Construction in Contemporary China

城市环境建设是包括城市功能规划、城市建筑、景观、公共艺术等在内的系统工程,旨在创造便于市民公共生活的空间,同时涉及各种利益矛盾之间的协调与制衡,还包括人与自然的和谐发展,决不只是技术与艺术的问题。针对中国当代城市环境所面临的权利审美、社会正义与公共空间、弱势群体、"伪生态"等社会和伦理性问题的批评式解析,将为构建和谐社会及政府决策提供理论参考。

Urban construction is a systematic project including urban function planning, architecture, landscape, public art and so on. Its main purpose is to create a favorable space for citizens to live in. Meanwhile, it also coordinates and balances different beneficial parties including harmonious development for man and nature. Technology and art are just two of many problems it solves. The critical analysis of social and ethical problems, which aims at ＂right aesthetics＂, social justice, public space, vulnerable group and ＂artificial Ecological system＂ that faced by city enviromnent in contemporary Ch;na, will provide theoretical reference for building harmonious society and making governmental decision.
