印度紫檀的育苗技术及其在西双版纳的苗期生长表现

Seedling-raising Techniques for Pterocarpus indicus and Its Seedling Growth Performance in Xishuangbanna

印度紫檀(Pterocarpus indicus)是热带珍贵用材树种和优良园林绿化树种。通过两个印度紫檀种源在西双版纳的育苗试验,结果表明:印度紫檀在2至4月份苗高生长较缓慢,从5月份开始生长明显加快;泰国种源苗期生长优于菲律宾种源,6个月生时两个种源的平均地径均为0.4 cm,而前者平均苗高为29.4 cm,比后者高37.9%。

Pterocarpus indicus is a valuable tree species and good garden greening species in the tropics. Seedling-raising trial of two provenances of Pterocarpus indicus in Xishuangbanna was analyzed. It was shown that the height Of this species grew slowly between February and April, while remarkably fast since May. When six month old the mean height of provenance from Thailand was 37.9% larger than that from the Philippines, and the mean diameter of the two provenances was 0.4 cm. It was thus concluded that the seedling performance of the provenance from Thailand was better than that from the Philippines.
