Electric power capacitors are important reactive compensation components for electric network. The correct use and maintenance of them are very important. The service condition of electric power capacitors in Nanjing electric network is introduced in the paper. According to operation faults of the capacitors in 2007 ,the main reasons and relevant treatments are analyzed ,which offers reference for the capacitor maintenance in future.
