SecB is a 17kDa cytosolic chaperone protein that is required for efficient export of particular protein in Escherichia coli. The function of SecB is to bind precursors and stabilize the pre folded conformation.SecB has a direct role in controlling the rate of precursors folding to their interaction with membrane components.In this paper the SecB gene was cloned into plasmid pAcYc184 SecB,which can be coexisted with plasmids having ColE1 origin.The plasmidpAcYc184 SecB was then transformed into E.coli strain harboring a high expression vector of human lymphotoxin gene.By measuring the anti tumor activity in the soluble components of cells,we found the highest activity was raised about 50% and the induction time for reaching the highest activity was delayed.
