Markedness Theory and the Reproduction of Style in Literary Translation

本文简要地介绍完标记理论后,综述该理论在翻译研究中的运用情况,重点分析目前该理论在文学风格翻译中的发展,现在所取得的成果主要是对文学风格标记要素的提出,本文尝试理清这些要素的关系,提出标记理论在文学风格翻译上运用尚待解决的三个重要问题,并尝试对风格标记量化提出的设想。

After a brief introduction to the markedness theory and its application in translation studies, this paper focuses on the development of the theory in the application of literary translation of style. The current achievement in this field mainly includes the proposal of the elements of literary style markedness and this paper attempts to clarify the relationship among these elements and put forward three important questions concerning the application of the markedness theory in the literary style and suggestions of quantizing style markedness.
