摘要
沉积物粒度参数是描述粒度分布特征的数值,包括平均粒径、分选系数/标准偏差、偏度(偏态)和尖度(峰态)等。简要介绍了粒度参数的两种计算方法(图解法和矩算法),并对两者进行了对比研究。结果显示,两种方法计算的平均粒径几乎相同;分选系数能够相互替换;偏态值具有一定的可比性,可以互相换算;峰态值离散程度很大,没有明显的相关趋势,不具有可转换性。最后提出了一种基于Mastersizer2000激光粒度仪的实现粒度参数求解的简便易行方法。
Sediment particle size parameters are the numerical values that describe the character of particle size distribution, including mean particle size, sorting coefficient/standard deviation, skewness and kurtosis. This paper introduces two methods for calculating particle size distribution parameters, namely, graphic method and moment method. A comparison between the graphic method and moment method is conducted. The results obtained by the two methods show as follows: The mean particle size is almost identical; the sorting coefficient can be replaced one another; the skewness has some comparability, and can be converted each other; no clear correlation is found in kurtosis values, and can not be converted. The simple method which bases upon Mastersizer2000 family of particle characterization instrument is brought forward.
