摘要
受问卷调查数据样本教育程度、行业和地区分布的影响,人力资本收入函数中工龄变量的二次设定存在不足。依据调查对象工龄和收入的关系,同时参照墨菲(Murphy)和韦尔斯(W elch)等学者研究人力资本收入函数的方法,通过在基础明瑟收入函数中加入工龄变量的高阶多项式来提高收入函数的拟合优度。实证研究结论表明,加入工龄三次项的收入函数是最佳的选择。
Deficiency exists in the squared varible of human earning function because of the differences in schooling,job and region as revealed in the sample data. Based on the relationship between the working years and earnings of the subjects and the human capital theory of Murphy and Welch, the goodness of fit in earning function can be improved by adding high - order polynomial of work experience varibles to standard Mincer framework. The result indicates that the cubed earning function added to work experence is the optimal.
