近期四川省大学英语三级考试阅读理解试题有以下几个特点:阅读资料的内容涉及面较广,含传记、社会、文化、日常生活、科普知识等多个方面;文体多是说明文和议论文;命题方式主要有确定中心思想型、辨认重要事实型和判断、推理、概括型;并且考试在向整体能力测试转变。备考策略上应有针对性。翻译题大部分来自阅读文章,且全是英翻汉的选择题。针对这一题型,解答应抓住以下关键点:注意分析英语句式的整体结构和英汉表达习惯的区别;注意识别文章文体和写作风格并结合语境并将翻译联系上下文;注意句中细节性翻译,做到翻译准确;根据严密的推理排除干扰选项,得出正确答案。而无论阅读还是翻译能力的提高,根本在于注重养成训练。
The reading comprehension questions in SCET-3 of recent years have the following characters: reading material covers a lot of ground including biography, society, culture, daily life, and science, etc. literary style mainly concerns exposition and argumentation; question design principally includes the types of theme definitude, fact differentiation, truth judgment, logical reasoning, and detail summarization; the purpose of SCET-3 is converted to testing students' comprehensive ability. So we should develop the proper strategies in preparation of SCET-3. All the translation questions, most of which come from reading comprehension, belong to the English-Chinese multiple choice test. According to the characters of translation questions, we should catch the following key points: pay attention to analyze the English sentence structure, take notice of the differences between English and Chinese expressions, try to understand literary and writing styles of the article, put translation into context, make detailed translation accurate, exclude the confused choices with rigorous analysis and get the right answers to questions. So whether we want to improve reading or translation ability, it's essential for us to develop the habit of practice.
