介绍当前我国图书馆学方法研究的困境,阐述图书馆学的上位科学应为社会科学,社会科学的科学化历程以及当前社会科学所采用的主要方法,分析得出实证方法是克服目前图书馆学方法论研究困境的主要方法;并论述图书馆学实证方法的基本内涵,指出实证研究方法可以克服当前图书馆学研究的经验性与思辨性,从而走上"实在科学"之路。

This paper points out the difficulties of the research methods of library science. The upper science of library science is social science. This paper also expounds the scientific course and the current methods of social science, concludes that positive method is the main method to overcome the difficulties of the methodology of library science, and discusses the fundamental meaning of positive method of library science. Positive method can overcome the experientialism and metaphysics, Thus, library science can be positive science.
