This article focuses on the extension technology of publishing software.It introduces several famous extension frames.By using the latest technologies,the author sets up an Object Oriented extension scheme-the Software Component Hierarchy.This article explains the technical background and the main thought of the Software Component Hierarchy and compares it with the other extension frames.The Software Component Hierarchy has been applied in the designing of the latest publishing software of Founder Corporation and has showed its power on the market.
