Exploration of Students-oriented Translation Teaching in Specialty of English

翻译是一项实用技能,培养学生的翻译技能是翻译教学的首要任务。文章强调在以学生为中心的翻译教学中,教师主要是组织者、创造者和监督者,学生是教学活动的中心主体,同时提出了以学生为中心的翻译教学的一些实施策略。

The ability of translation is a practical skill. It is a primary task to cultivate students＇ translation capability in translation teaching. However, there are a lot of disadvantages in tradi- tional translation teaching. It is brought forward in the essay that the aim of ＂ students - centered＂ translation teaching is to enhance the quality of translation teaching. In this teaching mode, teachers are the organizers, creators and supervisors, while students are the main bodies of the teaching activity. Meanwhile, some strategies of fulfilling ＂students -centered＂ teaching mode are discussed.
