中国网络信息采集工作研究现状分析——以国家图书馆为例

Analysis of the Current Research Situation of Web Information Collection in China——Taking National Library of China as an Example

随着网络技术的迅猛发展,越来越多有价值的资源仅以网络信息的形式存在,互联网已经成为全球最大的信息库。作为国家文化遗产的重要组成部分,网络资源在保持高速增长的同时也在大批消亡,如果不采取有效保存措施,在其消失之后人们将再也无法获取利用。鉴于此种情况,国家图书馆于2003年启动了"网络信息资源采集与保存实验项目"(WICP)。

With the rapid development of network technology, more and more valuable resources only exist in the webpages, therefore, Internet has become the biggest information repository in the world. As an important part of national cultural heritage, web information increases quickly, but at the same time lots of web information dies out. If we don＇t take efficient measures, we will not have access to these resources after they die out. Therefore, National Library of China initiated Web Information Collection and Preservation Project （WlCP） in 2003.
