On Chinese Traditional Medicine from the View of the Local Knowledge

中医学是一门具有丰富理论基础和临床实践经验的知识体系。但由于它的学说与西医学不同,所以在其科学性问题上一直争论不休。对中医学价值的正确认识和公正评价不仅关乎对待中国传统文化的态度问题,而且涉及中国医药文卫事业的发展方向,是一个非常重要的学术问题和现实社会问题。文章试图从科学实践哲学的维度,阐释中医学作为一种地方性知识,具有与西方医学不同的品格和特征,这种品格和特征同样是有价值的。

Traditional Chinese Medical （TCM） is a knowledgeable system which is rich in theoretic basis and clinical practical experience local in East. However, its system is different from western medicine, in which its theory can＇t satisfy the claim of western medicine＇s demonstration, there are many arguments about whether it is science or not. To evaluate the value of TCM is not only an attitude of Chinese Traditional Culture, but also refers to the development of medicine career. It is a very important academic and social problem. The article will try to expatiate character and quality of TCM as a local knowledge, which is different but has the same value with western medicine.
