The article targets at water entitlement trading in Australia as the study object. It introduces the origin and development of the water trading system in Australia, as well as theory and framework of water entitlement trading. On the basis of the above, the experiences accumulated from water trading practices are summarized that can be learned in water right system establishment in China.
