通过对“文献资源”和“文献资源建设”两个概念的分析，指出“文献资源建设”一词在当前使用中的错误和“馆藏建设”一词的科学性。

document resources building″ is a conception which was put forward in 1980′s to replace ″ collection building″ . The author holds that collection building is a scientific conception and there is no need of advancing a new term.
