应用字典(AD)是面向对象软件开发过程中为了实现动态生成用户界面、更有效的使用和维护数据库中各业务实体表而使用的一项中央活动数据字典技术,是统一的信息仓库.其基本思想是把业务实体表的定义放到两张字典表中.使用该技术的最大优点是可以根据自定义的规则和信息来动态生成维护(包括查询、添加、删除和修改)业务实体表的用户界面.开发人员不必设计、编码和测试每个维护基础表的界面.并且,由于用户界面基于相同的规则生成,使得软件稳定性加强,从而有效的缩短软件开发时间、降低开发成本以及提高软件质量.

The Application Dictionary （AD） used to achieve dynamic generating UI and more effective use and maintenance of various business-entity tables in database during the development of object-oriented software, is a central activity data dictionary technology and a unified storehouse of information. Its core idea is to take the definition of the business-entity tables to two dictionary tables. The biggest advantage of using the technology is that, according to the rules and self-definition information, it can dynamically generate UI, which is used for the maintenance （including enquiry, add, delete and modify） of various business-entity tables. So the developers do not have to design, code and test each UI. What＇s more. due to the generation of UI using the same rules, the software becomes more stable, which can shorten development period, reduce the cost and improve the quality of products.
