摘要
IEEE 802.11a移动应用是当前的研究热点问题之一。通过系统仿真,定量分析了802.11a在视距/非视距、不同多径传输、不同移动速度、不同信噪比条件下的系统性能,总结了802.11a移动应用的受限条件;在通过分析不同数据帧长、不同发送速率对系统性能影响的基础上,提出了802.11a移动应用的4种优化策略。研究还发现,经优化后的802.11a移动应用系统在受限条件下可以为120km/h的快速移动用户提供约10Mb/s的MAC层实际传输速率。
It has attracted many researchers' attention to provide broadband network services for the fast moving users with the off-the-shelf IEEE 802.11a technology.Based on the simulation outcomes,quantitative performance of 802.11a is analyzed under various mobile application scenarios,e.g.,LOS/NLOS,multi-path propagation,moving speed and SNR.And,a number of approaches are proposed to improve the performance of 802.11a under aggressive circumstance according to the comparison of different configurations with frame duration and send data rate.It also is found that with the configuration optimizing,the 802.11a system can provide about 10 Mb/s in MAC layer for 120 km/h mobile applications under a restricted condition.
