多模干涉异质结光子晶体波导光功分器的研制

摘要 基于自映像原理,设计并分析一种新的紧凑多模干涉异质结光子晶体波导光功分器,采用时域有限差分法数值模拟了光波能带结构和光传输特性。选择适当耦合长度可控制给定频率输入光的输出。进一步研究表明,通过改变光功分器内部一个介质柱半径大小,可以改变输出光功率,从而证实了这种器件不仅具有波长选择性,而且具有潜在的可调性。 A novel and compact multimode interference heterostructure photonic crystals waveguides optical power splitter based on self-imaging phenomena is designed and analyzed. The calculations of band gap structure and optical propagation properties of the device have been demonstrated by finite difference time domain method. Results show that propagation of the input light beam can be controlled by selecting appropriate coupling length of the device under the given frequency, Further research indicates that the optical power can be tuned by changing the radius of the silicon rods within the optical power splitter, the calculation results confirm that the device not only has the wavelength selectivity, but also has the potential of adjustment.
