勤俭观是社会主义核心价值体系的重要内容,是大学生成才成功的内在品质。当代大学生对勤俭问题给予了应有的重视和热切的关注,但还存在着崇尚自我、贪图安逸、满足虚荣、追求享受等问题,缺乏应有的勤勉、进取精神以及节俭行为。大学生勤俭观的教育必须纳入有中国特色社会主义文化建设的大视野;在课堂教学体系中强化人生观、价值观教育;建设厉行节约的校园文化环境,引导学生在生活中养成勤俭行为习惯。

The Concept of industry and thrift is the important content in the system of socialist core values, and it is essential to the development of college students. Although concept of industry and thrift is paid enough attention to, problems, such as advocating oneself, indolence, peacockery, pleasure- seeking, lack of assiduity, enterprising spirit and austerity still exist. It is necessary that the instruction for industry and thrift should be linked with building socialist culture with Chinese characteristics. Education of outlook on life and values ought to be strengthened in the class, and the practice of diligence and thrift should he introduced into the culture of the college campus, so that the students can develop the habits of industry and thrift in their life.
