摘要
大学英语四、六级考试作为一项标准参照语言测试,二十年来在我国大学英语教学中发挥了学业评价、教学诊断与反馈、激励学习等重要的积极功能。另一方面,伴随这项考试规模和社会影响的扩大,也产生考试功能异化等弊端。当今新一轮的大学英语四、六级考试改革,有利于引导高校和社会合理使用考试评价手段,更好地为大学英语教学和人才培养服务。
As the criterion - referenced language test, College English Test Band 4&6 has performed important positive functions in College English teaching such as academic evaluation, teaching diagnose and feedback, encouraging study for twenty years. On the other hand, with the increase of examination scale and the extension of social influence, it brought about some drawbacks such as the dissimilation of its examination function. Nowadays the new reform of College English Test is beneficial to guide the society, colleges and universities to make more rational use of the examination evaluation method, and to serve College English teaching and talents cultivation.
