Abstract It must change the traditional economic growth model in order to keep sustainable,rapid and healthy development of the economy in Anhui province. This paper has expounded the real condition existed in changing economic model in Anhui province,pointed out that the extensive characteristics in the economic development is still evident in the province and it is only choice to quicken the change of economic growth model. And finally,the way how to quicken the change of growth model were discussed.
