A special ease of simple and quick analysis on one component thermosetting coating composition was introduced in this paper. After investigating the application of the submitted sample, measuring the sample with IR spectrum, comparing IR spectrum of standard sttbstance database, combining resource advantage of intermet, integrating the whole information, the sample was confirmed as a mixture of polyacrylic acid and melamino - formaldehyde resin.
