论诗歌语言的审美特征

On aesthetic features of poetry language

诗是语言艺术。诗歌语言既是载体又是信息本身,既是媒介又是目的,既是形式又是意味,是所谓"有意味的形式"。这里,载体和信息浑然一体,媒介和目的不即不离,形式和意味共生共灭。因而从整体上构成诗歌语言的审美特征:非实用性,非科学性,非确定性。

Poetry is a kind of language arts. Poetry language is not only the carrier but the information itself; not only the medium but the purpose; not only the form but the meaning, also the meaningful form. Here the carrier and the information are unified; the medium and the purpose keep a respectful distance; the form coexists with the meaning. Therefore, the above elements make aesthetic features of poetry language： non-practicality, non-science, uncertainty.
