The comparison and study of Chinese-American design education

根据美国的高校艺术教育特征,分析比较了中、美艺术教育的发展背景、理论思想与实践.在分析当前我国艺术设计教育现状基础上,从教育目标、教学内容、教学方法和结构等方面提出我国艺术设计教育专业改革与发展的思路和建议:重视创新性思维培养;教师注重引导,学生注重个性特长;课程体系注重多元化特色和优势;教学方法注重少讲多练等.

A brief study about of the background, development of American art education based on the personal experiences of studying in American Art University was presented. Through comparing and studying Chinese art education, based on the current situation in art education, some points are rised up in Chinese design education from purpose, content, construction and method. These pointes are paying attention to develop the students＇ ability of creative thinking, guiding students to have personal art style, having rich and reasonable curriculum construction, and teaching in effective way.
