摘要
实验研究了作为电火花加工电极材料的两种含量的TiB2/Cu复合材料.以加工速度、电极损耗率为工艺指标,分别研究了加工电流、脉冲宽度在电火花加工过程中的影响,并采用PHIL-IPS XL-30环境扫描电镜(Environmental Scanning Electron Microscope,简称ESEM)及能谱(Energy Dispersive X-ray,简称EDX)分析TiB2/Cu复合材料作为电火花加工电极材料的腐蚀机理.实验结果表明,将体积分数为5%的TiB2/Cu复合材料作为电火花加工电极材料与其他的铜基复合材料具有同样的规律.
Two kinds of TiB2/Cu composite prepared in powder metallurgy were used as the electrode material of electrical discharge machining (EDM) regarding workpiece removal rate, relative wear rate as the craft index ,and the study of the electric current,impulse duration impacting on TiB2 particulate reinforced copper matrix composites were carried out separately. The corrosion mechanism of TiB2/Cu composite was analyzed through utilizing PHILIPS XL-30 enviromental scanning electron microscope and energy spectrum analysis. The result shows that EDM characteristics of TiB2/Cu electrode has the same rule as any other copper matrix composite electrodes.
