《乌托邦》是英国文艺复兴时期思想家托马斯·莫尔的成名之作,其文本内容和价值意义的研究已经非常成熟了,但关于作者本人人生经历与写作此书的关系探讨却是一个空白,本文对《乌托邦》和托马斯·莫尔进行了仔细解读,梳理了托马斯?莫尔本人的生活背景、知识储备、任职和游历、宗教信仰、生活习性和《乌托邦》一书的的历史生成关系。
Utopia is one of Thomas Mole＇s masterpieces, who was a great thinker in the British Renaissance. Research on Utopia＇s contents and its significance is rather mature, but there are little discussions on the relation between Mole＇s life experience and the cause for writing the book. The article tries to interpret in detail Utopia and Thomas Mole, and discusses the relations between the book＇s naissance and the author＇s life background, knowledge reserve, posts held, tours, religious belief, habits.
