This paper expounds some common technical terms concerned with the short circuit faults, introduces the variation of the voltage in the case of the short circuit, analyzes some technical problems existing in dealing with the short circuit faults, probes into the accidents of the secondary circuit and auxiliary devices, and puts forward some basic ideas for controlling the accidents.
