The Construction of Weakness——An Exploration of the Clinical Philosophy of Life and Death

虚弱性规定了人的本质,同时也规定了生死问题的本质。生死问题最终是无法用"独我论"来解决的,因为生死仅靠自己的认识与觉悟是无法应对的,它需要与其他人之间以各种形式的媒介的介入。由此,从临床哲学的角度来讨论生死问题,对生死学的发展会有所启发。

Weakness stipulates not only human nature but also the nature of life-death issue. The life-death issue can not be solved finally by ＂solipsism＂ because life and death can not be addressed by one＇s self-cognition and self-consciousness. It requires the intervention of media of various kinds through interpersonal relations. Therefore, the discussion of the life-death issue from the perspective of clinical philosophy may shed some light upon the development of life and death studies.
