The background and function of village tourism were briefly analyzed,the concept of village tourism was summarized,and finally the theoretical system guiding the planning of village tourism including the theory of tourism life cycle,the theory of landscape ecology,the theory of sustainable agriculture development,the theory of tourism psychology,the theory of ecological aesthetics were emphasized.
