摘要 学习者自主的研究是近20年来英美国家应用语言学界研究的一个热门话题。它展现的是一个连续统一体。本文介绍了自主学习的主要概念,探讨了我国英语教学环境下提倡自主外语学习的必要性。同时,通过问卷调查的方式,对英语专业师生自主学习意识的现状进行了调查,指出了当前高校英语教学中推行学习者自主的必要性、可行性和挑战性。最后,作者结合我国英语专业教学学时紧、任务重的现状,就如何培养学生的自主外语学习能力提出了几点建议。 Learner autonomy has been a heated topic for applied linguistics I the past two decades. It is believed that learner autonomy should be advocated in China' s context. Based on a survey of the university English majors' awareness of learner autonomy, this paper explores the feasibility, challenges and necessity of such an educational philosophy and proposes some measures concerned.
