On the Influence of Sinology to Tyomin Nakae's Political Thinking

中江兆民因在日本宣扬卢梭的自由民权思想而被誉为"东洋的卢梭"。"东洋"不仅是一个地域概念,而且是一个文化概念。作为东亚文化代表的汉学,是中江兆民汲取政治思想的重要源泉。儒学中孟子的"民生"思想和柳宗元的"生人思想",禅学中的自由平等观念,以及庄子无为而治的政治哲学都对中江兆民的政治思想产生了重要的影响,这些思想也是中江兆民接受法国民权思想的衔接点。

Tyomin Nakae is honored as ＂Oriental Rousseau＂ because of his propaganda of Rousseau＇s free and democratic ideas in Japan. It is not only a regional concept to be ＂Oriental＂, it is also a cultural concept. Sinology which is the representative of the Eastern Asia culture is the important source where Chomin Nakae absorbs political ideas. Mencius＇s public welfare thought and Liu Zongyuan＇s stranger thought In the Confucianism, equality among all living things in the zen as well as Zhuang Zi＇s ideas on governing by non-interference, have great influence to tyomin Nakae, Those thought can be said to be the point of contact where Chomin Nakae received French human rights thought.
