The Improvement of Bluetooth Encryption Algorithm and Implementation on FPGA

摘要 蓝牙技术的安全性存在诸多问题,文章在分析蓝牙加密算法的基础上,指出其不足,提出了一种以IDEA算法为基础的蓝牙加密算法,并使用硬件描述语言实现了该算法,采用3级流水线设计,加速比达2.78,最后,在Altera Stratix EP1S80上予以实现。结果表明,芯片在20MHz的时钟频率下可达到137Mb/sec的加/解密速率,系统时钟最高可达25MHz。 There are some problems on Bluetooth security. After analyzing standard Bluetooth encryption algorithm, this paper indicated disadvantages of standard Bluetooth encryption algorithm, then put forward a new kind of Bluetooth encryption algorithm based on IDEA algorithm. This paper realized the new algorithm with hardware description language, and used three-stage pipeline, the accelerative proportion is equal to 2.78. At last, the design was realized on Altera Stratix EP1S80. The result shows that the chip has 137Mb/sec encryption/decryption rate under 20MHz system clock rate, the maximal system frequency is equal to 25MHz.
