Healthy, children-friendly neighborhoods provide feelings of security, stability, interconneetedness, and social cognitive stimulation, as well as a sense of shared social responsibility. Poor aeighborhcods can hinder positive children＇s development. Neighborhoods affect the daily lives of families and through them the development of children. However, the development of children also has a significant influence on the quality of community living.
