摘要
本文简单介绍了一种国外最新的无线Wi-Fi网络建设模式,它给出了一种不同于传统的无线局域网(WLAN)的建设发展思路,它采用"自下而上"的网络扩展结构,使得个人共享无线网络、企业自建无线局域网、甚至"无线城市"等热门的无线网络建设都变得简单可行,最重要的是,它改变了以往无线网络建设的专业工程服务模式,而将无线网络建设变为了简单的设备零售模式;而且,该模式已经在美国旧金山的免费无线网络(FreeThe Net)的发展中得到了验证,是可行的。
This paper descripts one up-to-date wireless Wi-Fi infrastructure. Instead of a traditional ＂top-down＂ wireless service approach, it is a ＂bottom-up＂ method to set-up a WLAN, and allows people to build easily a shared wireless network everyday, or an entity to build a WLAN easily, even a ＂Wi-Fi City＂. The most important is that it changes method of setting-up a wireless network from the engineering service to device retail, and this method has been appro by the free network ＂Free The Net＂ in San Francisco.
