Design and Practice of Campus Geographic Information System Discovered by ArcIMS

随着计算机软硬件技术和空间技术的发展,数字地球、数字城市、数字校园取得了显著成果。介绍了校园地理信息系统的特点,阐述了校园地理信息系统设计的方案,并以中南大学校园为例,运用ArcIMS开发了校园地理信息系统,实现了对校园基础地理数据进行管理和分析。

With the development of hardware technology and cyber technology, great achievements have been made in the construc tion of digital city, digital community and digital campus. This paper introduces the characteristics of CGIS and discusses its design. With the instance of establishing ＂distal campus＂ in Central South University, the paper brings forward the project to build CGIS with AreIMS and initially realizes the management and analysis of original campus geographic data.
