设计基准在机械设计中，是一个相当重要的要素，其选择合理与否，直接影响尺寸标注，影响产品加工质量。列举分析了多种书籍中关于设计基准的定义，指明了某些定义的不确切性或错误，肯定了正确的定义。
In mechnical design,the design datum is a quite important factor.The choice of which will affects dimensioning and quality of products.Some definations about design datum in many books are listed and analyzed,some definations which are not exact or even wrong are pointed out,and the right defination are affirmed.
